Dr. Suja M K – Senior Consultant and Advisor

Dr. Suja M K is a highly accomplished faculty, practitioner, consultant, and advisor in Wellness and Social Development. She is a TUV SUD CERTIFIED PoSH Trainer. She brings over 30 years of extensive experience in teaching, training, and counselling. She has positively impacted nearly 50,000 lives through her role as a seasoned trainer for corporate entities, educational institutions, healthcare and wellness organisations.

As an external member for Internal Committee and lead trainer for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) at workplaces, Dr. Suja champions Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives at the corporate level. She has partnered with prestigious national and international organisations, including UNICEF, NCW, NCPCR, TNSCPCR, DST, ICCW, NISD and has facilitated various funded projects and programs aimed at Mental Health, Child Care and Protection and Social Development to name a few.

Dr. Suja is a prolific author, having published over 40 papers in leading national and
international journals and contributed chapters to several books. She has participated and presented in more than 45 national and international conferences on diverse topics within Social Work. As a research mentor, she has guided over 20 M.Phil. and Doctorate research scholars and served as a research guide for more than 100 postgraduate students.

Previously, Dr. Suja served as the Co-director for the Buffalo Amrita Social Behavioral
Sciences Research Institute in Buffalo, USA, and currently advises the Amrita Centre for Child Protection (ACCP) in collaboration with UNICEF.
